Texas Society of CPAs Honors Carol G. Warley with Top Award

The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) recently honored Houston professional Carol G. Warley, CPA, with the organization’s Outstanding Chairman Award for her work on TSCPA’s Federal Tax Policy Committee.

This award recognizes a TSCPA member for his/her outstanding performance as a committee chairman during the current year. Ms. Warley has served on the Federal Tax Policy Committee since 2009, and she is in her second year as their chairman. Under her direction, the committee has issued 18 comment letters to regulatory bodies and strengthened their communication efforts to keep members informed of their work. Through Warley’s wise and inclusive leadership, this committee continues to work tirelessly to represent Texas CPAs.

TSCPA (http://www.tscpa.org) is a nonprofit, voluntary, professional organization representing Texas CPAs. The society has 20 local chapters statewide and has 27,000 members, one of the largest in-state memberships of any state CPA society in the United States.
