Engine Shop Acquires Digital Wave Media Group to Boost Content Marketing Capabilities

Leading experiential marketing agency will now provide enhanced in-house content production services to clients

Engine Shop has acquired Digital Wave Media Group, an agency that specializes in content production, it was announced today. The addition of Digital Wave’s content creation capabilities will expand upon the services already provided by Engine Shop, an award-winning experiential sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing agency. Digital Wave specializes in producing high-end digital content including videography, photography and post-production to brand, event, entertainment, celebrity and corporate advertising partners.

“Content production has become the critical link needed to amplify the event experience beyond the physical event space,” said Brian Gordon, CEO of Engine Shop. “This allows us to provide a seamless solution for our clients including the creative development, capture and production of content that our clients can leverage in countless ways after the conclusion of an event or a marketing program.”

Effective immediately, Digital Wave will rebrand within Engine Shop and relocate its Los Angeles office inside Engine Shop’s existing Beverly Hills space. As part of the acquisition, Digital Wave CEO Rick Williams will join Engine Shop as Vice President of Content Production. Williams will continue to reside in L.A.
