New Resource Center for Mental Health in the Justice System Launched on Equitas’ Website, a Merage Foundations Entity
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) July 23, 2014 -- This week, a non-profit organization founded by the David & Laura Merage Foundation, known as Equitas, launched their website which includes a Resource Center that contains news articles and research related to mental health in the criminal justice system. The Equitas Resource Center is divided in to pertinent and relevant topics including specific focus areas such as “Crisis Intervention Training” and “Problem Solving Courts.” The resources are organized chronologically and it also includes a search function.
“The Equitas Resource Center is a unique source that will shine the light on current articles, research, and best practices in a large and diverse community that is searching for solutions for a more humane and less costly environment in law enforcement, mental health treatment, and the criminal justice system,” said Robyn Loup, Equitas Consulting Director. “The Resource Center will continue to grow and evolve each month as we add new articles and source newly published research,” Robyn added.
