SSD Fair Marketing to Award U.S. Veteran $5000 in 1st Annual “Salute Our Troops” Contest
Houston, TX (PRWEB) July 21, 2014 -- On July 23, SSD Fair Marketing CEO Roger Janik will present a $5,000 check to “Salute Our Veterans” winner Lee Knudson. Knudson, a U.S. Army Veteran and retired police officer, is the first winner of the annual contest and will be awarded during an event held at SSD Fair Marketing’s corporate office in Houston, Texas.
Knudson was selected by SSD Fair Marketing’s upSOCIAL department from the numerous entries submitted in the firm’s “Salute Our Veterans” Contest, held through the SSD Facebook page. In order to be eligible to enter and win the contest, candidates had to be 18 years of age or older, currently living in the Houston area and a United States Veteran or have served in the U.S. Military or Armed Forces. The contest was open for submissions from all eligible candidates between April 1 and May 31, through a custom Facebook application form. SSD Fair Marking plans on holding this contest annually to “Salute Our Veterans” who currently live in the Houston area.
