Aerovox Corp. has announced that Michael Roach has recently been appointed to the position of Western Regional Sales Manager. Mike has over 20 years’ experience in the design, processing, manufacture and sale of electronic components and assemblies utilized in the aerospace, military, down hole, medical, automotive and commercial industries.
Before joining Aerovox, he was a Product Manager at API Technologies, in Erie, Pennsylvania. Prior to that, he held sales and marketing management positions at Eclipse Nanomed, Johanson Dielectrics and Dover Ceramic Products Group. Earlier in his career he held several engineering management positions, and was an applications/sales engineer at Aerovox.

Mike is a graduate of Loyalist College in Ontario, Canada, where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with honors. He is co-inventor of a patent related to EMI-RFI filter design and co-authored a number of related technical papers which were presented at national and international conferences.
