Spartan Environmental Technologies Supplies Ozone Water Treatment System for Semiconductor Plant Expansion
Mentor, OH (PRWEB) July 23, 2014 -- Spartan Environmental Technologies has supplied a second SPARTOX A120 ozone water treatment system to a semiconductor facility in the western US. The first system has been in operation since 2012. With the expansion of the facility, additional ozone treatment capacity was required.
The SPARTOX A120 is a fully integrated skid mounted ozone water treatment system capable of producing 120 g/h of ozone from compressed air. The system includes an on skid oxygen concentrator that makes a 90-95% oxygen feed gas for the ozone generator. The ozone is mixed with the water to be treated using a high efficiency venturi injection system.
The ozone water system treats make up water for a scrubbing system to control biological growth. The initial system installed in 2012 demonstrated the success of ozone for this application and the reliability of the SPARTOX platform.
Anthony Sacco, Marketing Director for Spartan Environmental Technologies, said, “Spartan is pleased that our client has decided to purchase the second SPARTOX A120. This demonstrates the SPARTOX packaged system delivers reliable performance over time.”
About SPARTOX: The SPARTOX system is a PLC controlled fully integrated ozone water treatment system capable of producing 20-240 g/h of ozone. It uses either compressed air produced on the skid or house compressed air to make oxygen and then converts the oxygen to ozone. The ozone is mixed with water in a high efficiency injection system to deliver ozonated water to the end use applications.
About Spartan Environmental Technologies: Spartan has been a supplier of fully integrated ozone and advanced oxidation systems for industrial and municipal water treatment since 2004.
