To celebrate the partnership, SportsBlog and AXIS Sports Media have teamed up to offer a unique contest opportunity for SportsBlog members who blog about golf.
The winner of the blogging contest will receive a trip to the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut for the 2014 World Series Golf Tournament weekend, to be held September 4-7, 2014.
“We’re excited to form this partnership with AXIS and the World Series of Golf, and can’t think of a better way to kick it off than with this contest,” said SportsBlog CEO Roy Dano. “Our SportsBloggers are no stranger to the thrill of competition, and they’re going to love the chance to score this prize.”
To enter, contestants must have a SportsBlog account and designate at least 50 percent of their blog posts to the category of “golf.” The eligible SportsBlogger who receives the most web traffic during the contest period will win the grand prize.
The contest will run from July 22, 2014 through August 22, 2014. SportsBlog’s new partnership with the World Series of Golf follows several other recent major partnerships with popular sports websites, organizations and professional athlete players associations.
