For the past six years, Push to Walk has attracted individuals and businesses to its events by offering an exceptional day of golf, dinner and socializing. Push to Walk appreciates its supporters and recognizes that the nonprofit would not be where it is today if it were not for the loyal group. The organization will honor Mike McGuriman of Motorola Solutions, a longtime supporter of Push to Walk and its clients, during this year’s outing.
“If you don’t play golf, join us for dinner, donate one of the sponsorship packages or make a contribution of cash or prizes for the auction. All contributions are greatly appreciated and will be listed on our Donor Recognition Board,” said Cynthia Templeton, President of Push to Walk.
Push to Walk is able to cover only about 65% of its operating costs through client fees, and relies on fundraising events to help make up the difference. “Our annual charity golf outing is our largest and most valuable event, raising us the funds to help cover operating costs, purchase new equipment, and create scholarship opportunities for clients in need,” explains Cynthia.
