Murray B. Silverstein Appointed Chair of the Florida Rules of Judicial Administration Committee

Murray B. Silverstein, a business litigation attorney in the Litigation practice at the Tampa office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, has been appointed Chair of the Florida Rules of Judicial Administration Committee by Florida Bar President Gregory Coleman for the one-year term that began July 1, 2014. The Committee recommends new rules and amendments to the Supreme Court of Florida’s governing practices and procedures involving the Florida court system.

“I am honored to accept this appointment as Chair of the Rules of Judicial Administration Committee,” Silverstein said. “I look forward to contributing my experience to making this a productive year ahead for the rules committee, which has become a pivotal part of Florida’s emerging electronic court system.”

At Greenberg Traurig, Silverstein focuses his practice on business, commercial, and real property litigation. He regularly represents companies and individuals in jury and non-jury trials in the state and federal l courts of Florida. He is board certified in Business Litigation and Civil Trial practice by The Florida Bar. Additionally, Silverstein has provided effective mediation services to hundreds of litigants.
