Out of multiple entries from each House of Bread Bakery Cafe, the finalists are the World Cup, Laura's Special and Horsin Around.
The World Cup was submitted by the Wasilla, Alaska House of Bread and it contains chicken breast, pesto, artichoke hearts, avocado, provolone cheese, balsamic vinegar on Garden Herb bread. The World Cup had a timely name when it was introduced, too bad it only comes around every four years. However, the World Cup's deliciousness is always current.
Anchorage House of Bread had the Horsin Around: horseradish sauce, roast beef, grilled onions, blue cheese crumbles on Focaccia. Toast it on 9-grain bread and then add lettuce and tomato. Lastly, Laura's Special came from the Victoria Texas House of Bread. Laura's favorite is sundried tomato pesto, chicken breast, fresh spinach, artichokes, red onion and bacon on Focaccia.
Please come by a House of Bread and help select the winner.
