Boston, MA (PRWEB) July 25, 2014

Groupize Solutions has partnered with Denihan Hospitality Group to release the new Groupize Group Booking Engine (GBE) for The Affinia brand. Denihan is a nationally recognized, independent owner and operator of boutique hotels in top U.S. urban markets. The Affinia Hotel Collection is comprised of six suite hotels in Manhattan and Washington DC, representing over 1,900 hotel rooms.

The Groupize GBE is a revolutionary online solution to help solve the inefficiencies of the current group process and make sales managers more efficient. Currently in use by over 7,000 hotels, the solution was previously available only to hotel chains and has now been adapted to the unique needs of independent hotels and small chains such as The Affinia Hotels.

Groupize GBE allows hotels to replace the static RFP forms on their web site with a state-of-the-art micro-site that is tailored for groups, weddings, meetings, and more. GBE is particularly innovative because it quotes Dynamic Group Rates in real time to group planners. Additionally, hotels can display and control amenities, images, and group content, and the GBE captures all the planner’s necessary information including sleeping rooms, meeting space, and F&B needs.

Denihan Hospitality, EVP and Chief Customer Officer Tom Botts said, “Planners expect access to instant information on hotel websites and by implementing the GBE, we are able to provide group travel planners with group rates and availability instantly, avoiding unnecessary delays caused by eRFP’s and completely negating the need for planners to visit other websites.”

Recent Groupize research shows that 70% of group demand goes directly to the property and that sales managers spend 5-7 hours each day responding to unqualified emails. “Sales managers are in desperate need of tools that really work to manage and keep track of the group demand,” said Groupize President and CEO Charles de Gaspe Beaubien.

Among the ways the Groupize GBE makes the process more efficient for hotel sales teams is integration with the Groupize PRM (Pipeline Response Manager). The Groupize PRM allows hotel sales managers to efficiently manage and track group demand in an easy-to-use dashboard from new groups to definite groups without rekeying anything. With Groupize PRM, sales managers can communicate directly with group planners, including sending proposals and contracts in seconds, and they are able to handle reports, triggered emails, escalations, notes, and more with much greater efficiency.

“When group planners are given the resources they need to book efficiently and effectively, not only do costs to manage unqualified leads decrease, lead conversions can increase 10 to 20 times and we are honored to work with leading hotel companies like Denihan Hospitality who recognize this opportunity,” said de Gaspe Beaubien.
