Tampa, FL (PRWEB) July 24, 2014

eLogic Learning (eLogic), announces Presbyterian Medical Services will transition its employee training and compliance programs to the eSSential Learning Management System (LMS). Recognized as a “Top 5” LMS for 2014 by E-Learning 24/7, the eSSential LMS gives administrators the ability to assign required training and track compliance via a cloud-based platform easily accessible from any device.

Headquartered in Sante Fe, New Mexico, Presbyterian Medical Services (PMS) is a non-profit organization providing medical, dental, behavioral health, children’s services and supportive living programs to underserved communities throughout New Mexico. PMS collaborates with all levels of government along with communities, local organizations and hospitals to deliver these services.

PMS has always taken the proper steps to ensure its staff is up-to-date on required training and certifications. However, the organization was in need of a new system to automate many of the tasks that go along with maintaining regulatory compliance, such as notifying employees when a course or certification is due.

Julian Ortiz, PMS’s Learning and Development Administrator, cited functionality, compliance tracking features and live event scheduling as main priorities for the organization’s selection of an LMS. “The eLogic team showed us all the ins-and-outs of the eSSential LMS’s functionality and we were blown away. eLogic really thought about all the things that help training professionals and made them part of the LMS’s design,” stated Ortiz.

According to Ortiz, the easy-to-use transcript reports were another reason PMS chose the eSSential LMS. As a non-profit services provider, PMS must report to both funding and regulatory agencies on a regular basis. Transcript reports allow PMS to always have access to real-time training reports that can be easily printed and shared with auditors, making the auditing process faster and more organized.

“We are extremely honored to be able to partner with an organization such as Presbyterian Medical Services,” stated Aaron Olney, eLogic’s Vice President of Sales. “Their mission to provide quality healthcare to the underserved communities throughout the Southwest is a noble cause. We are glad that we can provide them with a training platform that will help them train their employees to the highest levels, so that they can deliver on their mission.”
