Windsor Resources Recognizes Managing Partner for His Support of the Arthritis Foundation
New York, New York (PRWEB) July 29, 2014 -- Windsor Resources, a staffing company, announced today that Chris Myers, Managing Partner of Bespoke Search Group, the Accounting and Finance Division of Windsor Resources, will join thousands of others in support of the Arthritis Foundation at the 14th Annual California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour.
The event, presented by Amgen, begins on Saturday, September 13 and consists of an 8-day, 525 mile cycling tour from San Francisco to Los Angeles along the California Coast. By participating in this event, Myers will help support the research and awareness to find a cure for arthritis.
“Athletic competitions and I go hand-in-hand… however, as invincible as I think I am, it won’t always be that easy,” said Myers about the upcoming bicycle tour. “Nearly everyone has a member in their family who goes through the day-to-day struggles and pains of arthritis. For them and for our future, I want to help where I can.”
According to the Arthritis Foundation, arthritis is very common but is not well understood because it is not a single disease; it is an informal way of referring to joint pain or joint disease. There are more than 100 different types of arthritis and related conditions. People of all ages, sexes and races can and do have arthritis, making it the leading cause of disability in America.
As the only national, nonprofit health organization dedicated solely to fighting arthritis, the Arthritis Foundation relies on the support of generous individuals to provide funds that support programs and services to those affected by arthritis. Currently, the cyclists of the California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour have raised $479,968. Myers is aiming to raise a minimum of $3,100 for the Arthritis Foundation’s California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour.
