concept3D, Inc. Improves Usability and Adds Features to ATLAS and CampusBird®
Boulder, CO (PRWEB) July 24, 2014 -- concept3D, the leading web, mobile, and geolocation software development company, today announced the immediate release of version 2.4 of its ATLAS interactive map platform. The feature enhancements, which will apply to both ATLAS and CampusBird product lines, include several new features to its groundbreaking software and improved end user experience based on customer interests and requests.
ATLAS 2.4 will include multiple user interface improvements, such as loading 360 panorama images quickly and seamlessly without tiles, screen tearing or "fisheye" skewing. In addition, the ATLAS Mobile web app is now entirely responsive, automatically displaying on any device regardless of the screen sizes. The latest version also features an improved tour player with thumbnails and large media, which supports most platforms including Android and iOS.
There are also several advanced features available in version 2.4, such as VisitTrack, which allows users to create a “gated content” area—requiring visitors to register before viewing it. Complete with a fully customizable form, this feature was designed to allow map administrators to generate leads via their online map content. VisitTrack will provide schools and facilities a way to monetize the leads represented by potential students visiting their site.
“With maps becoming integral to client engagement, VisitTrack provides ATLAS and CampusBird customers with the ability to better gauge and capture guest information. The capability can be used for schools and other markets alike for lead generation and follow-up engagement,” says Rushton McGarr, president and COO.
Another optional advanced feature is MapTimer, which will enable customers to pre-program map changes and tours for specific events throughout the year. This means customers can set content to display at certain days and times, repeating weekly if desired. Administrators can create recurring admissions tours, construction areas, road closures, athletics events, commencement activities, etc.
“CampusBird and ATLAS customers, including Duke University and University of North Carolina, provided great feedback to improve the product experience and functionality, and we responded with a release that continues to set CampusBird and ATLAS apart," says Oliver Davis, CEO and co-founder of concept3D.
