Forum Studio Announces New Leadership Team: Jay Longo and Jennifer Park
CHICAGO, IL (PRWEB) July 24, 2014 -- Forum Studio, a full-service architecture and design firm, announces the appointment of Jay Longo as president and Jennifer Park as principal. The two creatives behind the former Longo Park Design Workshop will leverage their experience across the organization to deliver design-driven architecture for the firm’s national and international clients. Longo and Park will share oversight for Forum Studio, with Longo focusing on business strategy and Park on elevating the firm’s design profile.
Over its 15-year history, Forum Studio has been recognized for its integrated delivery model. Now, under the guidance of Longo and Park, the full-service firm is poised to advance a reputation as a cutting-edge design leader.

Longo and Park co-founded Longo Park Design Workshop, a multidisciplinary design practice focused on architecture, urban design and product design. The Longo Park Design Workshop has been a longtime partner of Forum Studio, having successfully joined forces on projects including Gateway Plaza, a soaring, multi-tenant office building in Richmond, Va. and on the global headquarters for Reinsurance Group of America, an interactive and connective workspace in Chesterfield, Mo.
Prior to Longo Park Design Workshop, Longo served as principal and design director at Gensler, and co-led the firm’s headquarters practice area. He also held leadership positions at Brininstool + Lynch, Ltd and Loebl Schlossman & Hackl. Longo’s multifaceted design experience and background spans residential buildings, high-rise commercial office buildings, corporate headquarters, university science classrooms and laboratories, audio and post-production film studios, community centers, elementary schools, mixed-use retail centers, urban master plans and office interior spaces across the United States, Mexico and Asia.
Park is both a licensed architect and a professor. Prior to Longo Park, she worked at firms in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Virginia including Architecture Research Office, Wilkinson Blender Architects and Lorcan O’Herlihy. As a registered architect in both Virginia and Illinois, she has a wealth of project experience including university and institutional buildings, commercial office and headquarters, office and retail interiors, single and multi-family residential, and master planning efforts. Park is also currently an adjunct professor at Illinois Institute of Technology teaching undergraduate architecture studios and has previously served as an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago teaching classes in architecture, urban planning, and interior design.
As part of the strategic growth plan, Forum Studio's founding President Chris Cedergreen will remain at the firm as partner. Longo and Park will split their time between the Chicago and St. Louis offices.
