Paige starts off this easy beginner acoustic guitar lesson by stating that a capo is needed on the fourth fret of the guitar. Zollars first goes over the chords for the verse of the song as follows; D, A, Em (E minor) and G. Next Paige demonstrates the strumming for the verse as; down, down, up, up, down, up, counted as 1, 2, &, 3, 4, &, and this pattern is played twice for each chord. Next Paige goes over the Pre Chorus chords as follows; Em, G, D and A and that the strumming is the same as the verse, but only played once per chord. And finally Zollars demonstrates the chorus as follows; D, A, Em and G and that the strumming is counted as 1, E, &, A, 2, E, &, A, 3, E, &, A, 4, E, &, A and is played once per chord.
