As a platinum sponsor, Atrion is excited to give back to the New York community with not just our presence, but also funding and support.

Atrion is a platinum sponsor of the 5th annual New York-based SharePoint conference, SPSNYC, which will take place at the new state-of-the-art Microsoft Technology Center on Saturday, July 26, 2014, and two of Atrion’s SharePoint experts, Jason Himmelstein and D’arce Hess, will be presenting.

“As a platinum sponsor, Atrion is excited to give back to the New York community with not just our presence, but also funding and support,” said Jason Himmelstein, Senior Technical Director of Atrion’s SharePoint Practice. World-class speakers from around the world will present the very same content only seen at conferences that cost thousands of dollars to attend. “SPSNYC 2014 is free — and potentially more valuable than foundation-based training you can purchase,” said D’arce Hess, Interface Designer in Atrion’s Applications & Information Practice.

SPSNYC is an annual one-day seminar directed at SharePoint architects, developers, and other professionals who work with Microsoft’s SharePoint environment. “The SPSNYC Event Coordination Committee does a great job selecting top quality presenters. Moving to the new Microsoft Technology Center, SPSNYC will be able to host more than double the number of attendees over previous years,” said Himmelstein. SPSNYC features sessions covering a variety of SharePoint-related topics from SharePoint professionals and MVPs who donate time to the community to help it grow. “Unlike other IT and technology communities, SharePoint community members don’t horde knowledge,” said D’arce Hess, “SPS events provide attendees training from the best minds and an opportunity to get personal education from leaders who have direct access to the product teams at Microsoft,” said Hess.

SharePoint events gain attention due to the diversity of topics and the real-world application of the sessions. Jason Himmelstein will be presenting his talk, Business intelligence in SharePoint 2013: Empowering users to change their world, which helps people understand the value of the Business Intelligence offering in SharePoint 2013. D’arce Hess will be presenting her talk, Branding 101: Concept to Production, which provides a ‘how to’ on wireframes and mockups for page layouts and master pages.
