Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 23, 2014

Chrome River, a leading provider of expense management and supplier invoice processing software, today announced that it has hired two leading IBM Global Expense Reporting Solutions (GERS) implementation experts in order to work with customers migrating from IBM GERS systems.

“Legacy system conversion has become a very hot topic since IBM’s announcement that the GERS expense management platform is being sunset,” said Carol Ann Salcito, president of Management Alternatives, an independent travel industry consultancy. “Conversions from legacy systems require deep technical knowledge and consulting expertise because, generally, companies using these systems have made extensive customizations that require great flexibility on the part of the new system. Chrome River has shown they have the needed expertise to be very proficient at implementations for companies coming from legacy systems.”

Chad Mills, who joins as project manager, worked at IBM for the last 13 years in support of GERS, most recently as Delivery Project Executive. Jeremy Soto previously worked for IBM for 15 years and is a subject matter expert (SME) on IBM GERS. He has successfully completed many expense reporting implementations for global customers ranging from Fortune 50 to small and medium organizations. Mills and Soto will work as part of the Chrome River implementation team to support customers turning to Chrome River’s configurable, easy-to-use solution.

“Organizations have come to Chrome River with legacy systems -- ranging from proprietary internal platforms to large, well known systems in the industry – each with their own unique challenges," said Alan Rich, co-founder and CEO of Chrome River. “Our implementation team is expert at understanding customer requirements and utilizing Chrome River’s extensive configurability in a way that customers see tangible improvement in their processes and end-user satisfaction. Our job is to deliver enterprise solutions, and we’re thrilled to have Jeremy Soto and Chad Mills as part of our team.”
