Hayes, Inc. Senior Vice President to Speak at AHRMM14 Conference
Lansdale, PA (PRWEB) July 24, 2014 -- Hayes, Inc. (http://www.hayesinc.com), a leader in promoting better health outcomes through the use of evidence, is pleased to announce that Dee Donatelli, Senior Vice President, Provider Services, will be a guest speaker at the AHRMM14 Conference in Orlando, FL, on August 3-6, 2014. Ms. Donatelli, an expert in value analysis who also serves as the current President of the Association of Hospital Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP), will facilitate and participate in two preconference sessions on Sunday, August 3, VA 101 and 201. These sessions will discuss basic and advanced concepts in value analysis as well as review the elements being incorporated into the new professional standards and certification being published by AHVAP. She will also co-present a learning lab session on Monday August 4th with a repeat on Wednesday August 6th. This learning lab will discuss the work being done with Strategic Marketplace Initiative (SMI) on the leading best practices in value analysis. This effort is focused on a standardized request for information (RFI) template to be used by value analysis and supply chain professionals.
“Evidence needs to be at the center of the healthcare decision-making process, especially at the supply-chain level,” explains Ms. Donatelli. “When we fail to consider evidence, it’s possible to make practice and purchasing decisions that compromise patient health and safety. Moreover, we may incur substantial costs without achieving any measureable improvements in patient outcomes or operational efficiencies. I’m excited to share best practices and processes with attendees that will better enable them to meet their fiscal and quality targets.”
The AHRMM14 conference provides an opportunity for supply chain professionals to learn about the latest healthcare supply chain best practices and tools from the leading industry experts. To help supply chain and value-analysis professionals implement evidence-based value analysis practices such as those Ms. Donatelli will review at the AHRMM14 Conference, Hayes, Inc. offers free resources for healthcare supply chain and value-analysis professionals in its Resource Center, including a series of complimentary white papers that focus on evidence-based value analysis and its associated clinical and financial outcomes.
