Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) July 29, 2014

Silicon Valley Business Awards 2014 (SVBA), sponsored by Regalix, is now accepting nominations for its leading independent Apps and Devices awards program.

The SVBA Awards is the most prestigious award in the Silicon Valley, celebrating innovation in apps, wearable technology and mobile devices. Every year, SVBA focuses on recognizing and rewarding excellence in creative solutions that solve real world problems. We expect this year’s SVB Awards to attract more than 600 executives from across the media, marketing, content, commerce, ad-tech and device landscapes. The Awards ceremony will take place at the Historic Del Monte Building, Sunnyvale, CA on Thursday, October 9, 2014.

The SVBA Awards 2014 boasts strong support from industry experts and leading digital media outlets as a unique, executive level awards program-cum-incubator event that explores emerging strategic trends and best practices in apps and devices design, development, advertising, marketing, content distribution and commerce.

The Awards is committed to showcasing the latest and greatest apps and devices in the market today. SVBA recognizes the world’s leading apps and devices, reflecting the latest trends, growth sectors and opportunities. It offers an outstanding platform to spotlight the innovation that drives our industry.

Research firm Gartner predicted that in the next three to four years, apps will no longer be simply confined to smartphones and tablets, but will impact a wider set of devices, from home appliances to cars and wearable devices. By 2017, wearable devices will drive 50 percent of total app interactions.

SVBA Awards 2014 will showcase achievements and innovations across three different categories and reward the best in their class, raising the profile of the participants and partners in the process.

The nominations for SVBA Awards 2014 are now open in the following three categories:

  •     Mobile Apps: recognizing apps made for handheld, tablet and all other mobile devices
  •     Social Apps: recognizing social apps across all platforms
  •     Wearable Technology and Mobile Devices: recognizing breakthrough wearable technology & mobile devices

Winners will be chosen in each category and will be honored in Sunnyvale, CA on October 9, 2014.

The deadline to submit all entries is Friday, September 12, 2014. Entry rules, judging process, award criteria information, sponsorship packages and a list of 2013 winners are available on http://www.svbaawards.com. To download the Nomination Brochure, please visit http://bit.ly/1mMnwOB.
