Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon plc (NYSE: AON), recently unveiled the Aon WorldAware Global Gateway, a technology-based enhancement to WorldAware Solutions, Aon’s award-winning travel risk management platform. The Gateway will empower clients with the ability to better manage the travel security risk of their employees. Aon is expanding its WorldAware offering to clients in partnership with Cornerstone Information Systems, one of the world’s largest privately held travel technology companies that helps travel management companies, corporate travel departments, travel technology companies, and global distribution systems work more efficiently and more profitably.

Aon WorldAware Global Gateway provides a secure, accurate feed directly from a client’s TMC to the WorldAware Travel Management System irrespective of the GDS. Cornerstone will provide the data that allows WorldAware to track travelers at any point during their trip. By automating the acquisition of traveler data from a client’s travel management company, they can track any traveler, anywhere, so Aon can support a client’s duty of care.
