Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) July 25, 2014
Piper Fire Protection, a Clearwater, Florida based fire protection service provider, is excited to announce that their new location is nearly ready. The company hopes to officially complete its relocation in September 2014.
Vice President of Finance Don O’lone, Vice President of Operations Mark Stoefen , and Founder Terry Johnson, -- the management staff at Piper Fire Protection -- decided on the relocation about a year ago when the company began to exhaust all their space. The existing 28,000 square foot facility has served the company well since 1998. Recently however, additional employees and additional services have created the need for an upgrade. Upon this realization, Piper Fire Protection began seeking out appropriate solutions.
The relocation wouldn't have happened without the help of Teresa Brydon, Economic Development Manager for Largo, Florida, who realized that the fire protection provider's old facilities would perfectly suit the needs of the Barley Mow Brewing Company, which was also looking to move. She then helped match Barley Mow Brewing Company together with Piper Fire Protection to collaborate on a real estate transaction.
The company's new facility will have 30,000 square feet of office space, which the fire protection service provider will also use to offer safety seminars. Additionally, the new location has a 20,000 square foot fabrication facility. It is also outfitted with state of the art equipment to better serve the needs of the company's expanding client base. With the new headquarters location and the recent purchase/ownership of the Sarasota office, customers will be able to benefit from Piper Fire’s full service fire protection services throughout SW Florida.
Chris Johnson, President & CEO of Piper Fire Protection, said "We are excited to have our new headquarters in a location that will allow for efficient business as well as a gateway for expedient service in all direction of the Tampa Bay area."
Piper Fire Protection had many other key players in the relocation. Kristen Hesse, the HR Manager of Piper Fire Protection, played an integral role in coordinating the logistics with the move. Without her help, Piper Fire Protection wouldn't have one of the largest fire protection facilities in the entire state of Florida.
In business since 1986, Piper Fire Protection designs, installs, inspects and services every aspect of fire protection for local property owners, hospitals, restaurants, industrial buildings, retail shops and government facilities.
