NetSanity - Expanding its iOS Parental Control Platform, Fuels Amazon AWS Growth
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 28, 2014 -- NetSanity, Inc., (http://www.netsanity.net) the leading SaaS mobile platform, aimed at parents with school-aged children is adding capacity to its Amazon AWS platform. Since launching in early May, traffic has increased by 800%; enrolled devices by 388%; and internet queries by over 1200%. For the iOS Parental control platform to work effectively there are hundreds of logical gates that are looked at by the cloud system, for every user, requiring a rapid increase in server-side capacity.
“Since we are cloud-based and transactions are increasing daily, we decided to be proactive and add capacity to our global Amazon Web Services infrastructure", said Robin Petrovsky, VP of Marketing, NetSanity. “Our content filtering database is expanding, fueled by mobile queries generated for the monitored devices. Recently adding over 35% more apps to the AppBlocker, transactions in our databases also increase, forcing the CPU, memory, and storage increases.”
AppBlocker Expands, Even for Kim Kardashian's New Game
NetSanity Mobile Services includes five core features aimed at parents. A parental favorite is the AppBlocker feature, allowing a parent or guardian to block iOS internet apps with a single click. Parents are always requesting to add their favorite app and game to the AppBlocker, making it easy for parents to disable the app completely or limit its use. Responding to those parental requests, new apps have been added - apps like Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, Yik Yak, Whisper, Secret, and 30+ others are now live and available for use.
Availability & Features
NetSanity Mobile Services - is currently available by purchasing a device license for each enrolled iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
