London (PRWEB UK) 30 July 2014 -- BEP Systems Ltd has a number of offerings on the G-Cloud 5 Framework, available across the Software as a Service (SaaS) and Specialist Cloud Services (SCS) lots. The UK Government G-Cloud 5 framework enables the rapid sourcing and deployment of secure, competitively priced cloud services to over 30,000 organisations in the UK public sector.
In this latest iteration of the G-Cloud Framework, BEP Systems is offering the following key products: SaaS offerings include BEP EDRM, Document Management and Case Management Platforms; SCS offerings include SharePoint Application Design, Development, Testing and Training.
Chris Little, BEP Systems Limited, Managing Director commented, “I’m extremely pleased that BEP Systems has achieved supplier status on the G-Cloud V Framework. Public Sector IT procurement is striving to make savings and, consequently, its approach has shifted towards Cloud First, commoditised services and rationalised infrastructure. BEP Systems inclusion in G-Cloud V demonstrates that BEP Systems solutions and services are highly relevant to the Public Sector Market.”
He continued, “Public Sector is a key focus sector for BEP Systems, and G-Cloud is a very important platform for SMEs like BEP Systems to interact with and sell to the Public Sector - to date, about 60% of spend from the G-Cloud is with SMEs. BEP Systems presence on G-Cloud V means Public Sector Clients can source BEP Systems offerings quickly, and at a lower overall procurement cost, because the tendering requirements have already been undertaken. Combining BEP Systems offering portfolio on G-Cloud and its presence on the Local Authority Software Applications Framework, it’s now easier than ever before for Public Sector customers to get timely, cost-effective, quality services from BEP Systems - directly.”
About G-Cloud
The G-Cloud Programme is a cross-government initiative that is part of the Government ICT Strategy, with the aim of facilitating the adoption of Cloud Computing. The initial focus was on introducing cloud ICT services into government departments, local authorities and the wider public sector via an OJEU compliant framework called G-Cloud. These services can then be reviewed through the CloudStore.
G-Cloud is now the responsibility of the Government Digital Service (GDS). The G-Cloud Framework RM1557, is in place between the Crown Commercial Service and each of the G-Cloud suppliers. It enables Public Sector organisations to contract directly with G-Cloud suppliers using a standardised set of Call-off Terms and Order Form.
