After weeks of online voting, the public has spoken: All Breed Rescue & Training has won Thinkso’s annual Give a Brand! competition, the one-day design sprint in which the firm rebrands a small nonprofit completely free of charge—in one 12-hour day.
One of the three nonprofits chosen as finalists in the competition, All Breed Rescue & Training received the most votes in the two-month online poll that closed July 11.
All Breed Rescue & Training is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs at risk for euthanasia. The organization also educates members of their Colorado Springs community on better dog care.
“Thinkso is filled with dog lovers, so we’re really excited to create a new identity for All Breed,” said partner Elizabeth Amorose. “Last year the Give a Brand! winner was an organization that serves DC’s deaf community; the year before, it was for child-headed households in Africa. We love learning about and working with all these different groups doing amazing work for their communities. It’s extremely rewarding.”
The design sprint day will take place August 8, 2014, at Thinkso’s Manhattan studio. Activities on that day will be broadcast live via webcam, allowing anyone to tune in to see the rebrand in action. Exclusive coverage will be available to press representatives who attend.
