Join FALCAN at their upcoming Truck and Trailer Safety Program on Wednesday, Aug. 27th, 2014, at the Urbana Volunteer Fire Department Hall, Urbana, MD from 8:45am – 2:45 pm. Registration opens at 8:00 am. Coffee, donuts and lunch provided.
All instruction by Maryland State Police & Safety Industry Representatives cover ½ ton through 2 ton trucks, loading, and tie-down discussions as well as license, language and equipment requirements. State and Federal laws will also be discussed as they apply to our industry. The cost to attend is $95.00 per person. A company discount of $50.00 will be given for every additional attendee from the same company after the initial registration for $95.00. Pre-register before August 20, 2014. Cost is $110.00 at the door. This training is less expensive than a fine.

•Pickup, one ton, and larger truck and trailer safety requirements
•Permits, licenses, covers, tie-downs, etc. discussed/demonstrated.
•What you need to know for truck and trailer inspections
•Many other topics
•Program takes place both indoors and outdoors.
