Inside Self-Storage (ISS), the leading industry source for self-storage owners, investors and developers, is pleased to present a two-day Self-Storage Owner/Investor Executive Symposium on September 23 and 24, which will comprise an Owner/Operator Executive Conference on day one and a Developers Conference on day two. Designed to prepare industry professionals for success in the rapidly growing self-storage marketplace, the conferences will be held 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers in Chicago.
Registration for the symposium is now open at http://www.insideselfstorage.com/conf. The two-day package is available at a special discount rate of $1,098. Attendees can also participate in each conference individually. The pre-registration price for the Owner/Operator Conference is $499; the cost for the Developers Conference is $799. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
The Owner/Operator Executive Conference, led by self-storage expert Bob Copper, will address executive-level issues pertaining to facility operation. It will cover industry principles and best practices designed to help operators run an efficient, profitable business, meet and exceed customer expectations, and generate more revenue. Specific topics will include staffing, operational programs, marketing, auditing and revenue management.
The Developers Conference will provide expert insight to ground-up construction, conversions and remodeling projects, and include case studies to illustrate specific development strategies. The conference will begin with an overview of the current development climate and then unfold in dedicated segments covering all aspects of the development process including feasibility, financing, new construction, the conversion process, facility renovation and expansion, and boat and RV storage. Time will be allotted for a question-and-answer period with the presenters.
“As the self-storage industry continues to boom, we felt there was a true need in the marketplace to facilitate this type of education and discussion,” said ISS Vice President Troy Bix.
“This conference is designed with success in mind for every attendee. Each person will leave armed with the knowledge and skills to make an impact on the self-storage industry,” Bix said.
