Nashville, Tennessee (PRWEB) July 30, 2014

Stanton Chase International, a global retained executive search firm with 73 offices in 46 countries, has announced the launch of a new global Human Resources Specialty Practice.

This new specialty practice focuses on providing retained executive search services for the most critical roles in human resources leadership initiatives.

To lead the practice, Stanton Chase has named Daniel Casteel, Managing Director, Nashville, TN. Stanton Chase has built a global team of 39 consultants with almost 500 years of practical experience in human resources prior to entering the field of executive search. This has paid off in the fact that the team has collectively executed almost 800 successful searches.

“Our team has spent real time in the trenches,” said Casteel, “both in global HR leadership and in the many human resource disciplines. No other firm offers this level of dedicated HR experience to help companies select the best talent to move business opportunities forward.”

The formation of this specialty practice was fueled by the growing importance of human resources within world-class organizations where these executives are seen as guiding forces in achieving growth objectives.

“Long gone are the days when HR executives served as ‘personnel police’ and the human resources department's mission was to create policies and perform the transactional aspects of the employment relationship,” said Casteel. “Today, in the competitive landscape of the global economy and the rapidly changing demographics of the workforce, organizations are relying on human resources and the interdisciplinary experts therein to provide innovation in the employment value proposition that attract, develop and retain a skilled and motivated workforce.”

Previously, Casteel headed the HR function for an $11 billion global enterprise undergoing explosive growth. While there, he directed global organizational design and built leadership teams for acquired companies. His broad international experience gives Stanton Chase clients a key advantage in selecting leaders capable of driving growth in volatile environments.

According to a 2014 survey issued by Deloitte University Press, companies identify four human capital issues as urgent: leadership, retention, re-skilling, and talent acquisition. Building global leadership is rated most urgent, as noted by 38 percent of respondents. The report states, “In a world where knowledge doubles every year and skills have a half-life of 2.5 to 5 years, leaders need constant development.”

Casteel noted, “Our client list includes Fortune 500, middle market and private equity portfolio companies around the world. More than ever, companies on six continents turn to us to help find the one right person for each HR role.”

Established in 1990, Stanton Chase International is one of the leading global executive search firms, operating through focused industry practice groups, each led by a global practice team leader. Its four specialty practices are designed to recruit executives in areas that cut across industry boundaries, including Boards, CEOs, financial leadership, diversity management, and now human resources. As more enterprises cross boundaries and clients need talented executives around the world, Stanton Chase International delivers human capital solutions through its powerful network of offices in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia/Pacific, Australia, the Middle East and Africa.
