The 2009 L. Ron Hubbard Illustrators of the Future Award winner Douglas Bosley exhibited his works at the "11:11 A Creative Collective" on Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana. "11:11 ACC" focuses on encouraging collaboration between artists and their community including public art, festivals and events, creative based workshops, youth oriented programming and mentorship. They also collaborate with public and private art organizations, government and service base community organizations. They are devoted to create and strengthen support systems for artists. Douglas displayed his portfolio and several print pieces at 11:11 this weekend as part of his current tour of the US.
Douglas started his graduate program in 2009 when he won the L. Ron Hubbard Illustrators of the Future competition and went on to win the Madison Print club Student Award in 2012. He then won the first place prize for Art Printmaking from the Central Illinois Chapter and also won the National Award in the Art Printmaking category.
Since 2003 Douglas has had close to 100 Exhibits of his works from New York to Los Angeles, and internationally including Japan, Italy, China and New Zealand.
