The Telecom Expense Management Industry Association, TEMIA, the authoritative voice for Telecommunications Management Solutions Providers and others in related areas will moderate a Thought Leadership Panel at Super Mobility Week, which is powered by CTIA. This panel, which is open to all conference attendees, will begin September 8 at 4 PM during the last 90 minutes of TEMIA's meeting in the Las Vegas Sands Expo and Convention Center in the Murano room 3301 on the third floor. In this session, industry leaders will outline proven strategies to achieve real long-term value and ROI from Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) programs. This Thought Leadership discussion will answer the challenge that arises after achieving early wins by highlighting how to achieve sustainable value from TEM and EMM programs for all stakeholders.
TEMIA’s panelists for this session are:
- Erik Eames, CEO, Wireless Analytics
- James Price, President and Managing Partner, ICOMM
- Ken Lienemann, SVP Global Marketing, Tangoe
- Mark Hearn, President and CEO, Network Control
- Timothy C. Colwell, Senior V.P. of Global Business Analytics, AOTMP
“The ROI of telecom management practices can be measured in several dimensions including technical, operational and financial efficiency,” according to Timothy C. Colwell, SVP Global Business Analytics at AOTMP. “As the certifying body for Telecom Management products and services for both vendors and enterprises through our Efficiency First® Framework, we are happy to share our expertise on the topic of ROI and business value maximization on the panel. We anticipate and look forward to lively and thoughtful dialogue that will help us better understand how beneficial, valuable, and needed Efficiency First® Framework certification is to the Telecom Management industry.”
Ken Lienemann, SVP Global Marketing Tangoe, said, “In today’s increasingly connected world, organizations are challenged with effectively managing the complexities associated with their mobile lifecycles. An effective Enterprise Mobility Management strategy can help organizations optimize their telecom expenses, while maximizing ROI. I look forward to sharing these insights as a panelist.”
“ROI for TEM and EMM programs is typically measured in terms of reducing spend, but there’s value beyond cost control,” said Erik Eames, CEO of Wireless Analytics, LLC. “As a panelist, I look forward to sharing insights about how measuring and monetizing the impact of increased business productivity resulting from a well-developed and implemented smartphone strategy is the new measure of ROI for mobility management.”
Jim Price, President of ICOMM and Board President of TEMIA, said, “Within TEM and EMM, the available technologies and services are so quickly evolving that it’s difficult for enterprises to keep their eye on the core benefits of both services. But there are established methods and practices that help guarantee that such initiatives are a success. With this diverse panel, end-users will get a great deal of real-world, practical advice.
