Portner & Shure takes care to become involved in the local community in every aspect. Every day, the attorneys and staff at the firm help Marylanders obtain the compensation that they deserve and fight against the large insurance companies. Furthermore, the multilingual paralegals and staff work hard to ensure that even those who do not speak English or speak English as a second language are able to receive adequate compensation. Portner & Shure is able to serve clients who speak English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, or Vietnamese. They do this to better serve the diverse population of the local Maryland population.

Just this past month, Mr. Portner attended a fund raising event for Anthony Brown, the Democratic nominee for Governor of Maryland. Mr. Portner was available to make a statement: “Our firm strives to better serve the local community in a well-rounded way. We are always looking for ways to further connect with and raise-up the people we serve. Attending the fundraising event for Anthony Brown was one more way for our firm to ensure that we are on the pulse of the community.”

Portner & Shure takes care to give back to their clients and their community because it is those very people who have brought them so much success over the years. In fact, Portner & Shure are member for the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the National Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and were even selected in Time Magazine’s 2013 Excellence in Law. With this success, the firm is constantly involved with local events and finding ways to enrich the lives that surround them.
