Gilbert, AZ (PRWEB) August 13, 2014
Employee Benefit Exchange (EBX) has teamed up with the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce to sponsor a new program called the Business Academy. The Business Academy is designed to help professionals who feel they need or want to take the next steps in their career or for their business.
“It is a great opportunity to partner with the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce to provide an opportunity for business professionals to go further and reach higher to accomplish their goals,” said EBX Vice President Constance Lemere.
The course is nine months long and will offer classes on goals, business planning and finance, marketing and sales, team building, internships, succession strategies, and much more. For more information or to register, visit http://www.gilbertaz.com/BA.
EBX goes beyond your expectations to provide corporations and small businesses with affordable and reasonable insurance. Recently, EBX President, Phil Bobadilla, and EBX Vice President, Constance Lemere, became certified to help businesses understand their options and responsibilities under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). To obtain this certification, they completed a specialized course offered through The National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
“It is important for Business Owners who offer benefits to their employees to know that correct information regarding the PPACA will save time and potential penalties. Broker / Consultants who have taken the time to be certified and who stay current on PPACA requirements can be a big asset when designing, enrolling, and servicing their Benefit Programs,” said Bobadilla.
Bobadilla and Lemere are now armed with the most up-to-date information on the key technical components of the PPACA and are prepared to counsel their clients on upcoming required healthcare changes and new options for health plans.
“We feel that every employer needs to understand the new Healthcare Reform requirements and how the PPACA law affects groups regardless of their group size,” said Vice President Lemere. “Now we have the knowledge to be able to counsel our clients on all their options.”
