Inaugural CRAFT Michigan Names Participants for Friday’s Event

CRAFT Detroit is focused on bringing the plethora of Detroit culinary talent to all who attends. Focused on fresh, hand-crafted cocktails and artisan cuisine, CRAFT will provide all attendees with inspired flavors featuring local ingredients, many of which can be found at Eastern market, to expand and delight the palate. Participants include: Blue Nectar Tequila, Journeyman Distillery, Heaven Hill Distillery, New Holland Artisan Spirits, Two James Distillery, Papa’s Pilar, Valentine Distilling, Blackfinn Ameripub, Bacco Ristorante, Chef Tony Catering, The Mac Shack, Levy Restaurants, The Rattlesnake, Russel Street Deli, The Stand Gastro Bistro, and Sweet Artisan Marshmallows.
The event will be held in Shed 3 at Eastern Market from 7 – 11pm on Friday, August 1, 2014. Tickets are for sale for $45 at http://www.craftmichigan.com, or can be purchased at the door for $50. Tickets include:

Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan is a statewide non-profit organization that provides information, financial assistance and emotional support to adults and children affected by leukemia, lymphoma and related blood disorders. Every two hours, someone in Michigan is diagnosed with leukemia. CLF has been there to support them since 1962. For every $1 donated to CLF, approximately 83 cents goes directly to patient and family programs and services, which is important as more than half of the patients CLF sees fall under the poverty level.
