Measurabl Launches Utility Sync Service for Benchmarking
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 31, 2014 -- Sustainability reporting software company Measurabl has launched Utility Sync, a new service that allows companies to automatically fetch utility data and transfer it into ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager®, eliminating human effort and error, and radically simplifying sustainability data management practices. The new service removes the last barrier to fully automated, affordable utility data aggregation.
Utility Sync collects both historical data and go-forward monthly data, reducing the need for manual data entry and ensuring accuracy. By transferring this data to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, Utility Sync customers can benchmark building performance and earn the coveted ENERGY STAR certification. ENERGY STAR’s online portal has undergone extensive upgrades including improved collaboration and customization features. It’s also free, making it an excellent alternative to expensive energy and sustainability dashboards.
“Customer requirements have changed. They’re now focused on ensuring utility data is efficiently, accurately and affordably collected, then placed into ENERGY STAR,” says Matt Ellis, Measurabl’s Founder & CEO. “With this accomplished, our clients will have regulatory compliance, benchmarking, reporting and many other challenges solved.”
Measurabl has benchmarked more than 600 buildings in the past 60 days through Utility Sync. The service is available as a standalone solution or as a complement to Measurabl’s innovative sustainability reporting platform which currently supports the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) and will soon support CDP and GRI reporting this fall.
