LazaDerm Skincare Centre, the region’s leader in cosmetic and aesthetic laser procedures for skin and body rejuvenation announces their latest addition to the tattoo removal practice: the PicoSureTM laser. Now tattoo patients can expect to have their entire tattoo eliminated, no matter what color, in half the number of treatments as required by previous Q-Switch lasers.

LazaDerm Skincare Centre has been offering laser tattoo removal for years and strives to stay on the cutting edge of technology to benefit patients. The aesthetic laser center has recently added the PicoSureTM laser to their arsenal of tattoo removal lasers which will cut required treatments in roughly half and eliminate all colors of tattoos.

Since the Q-Switch laser nothing has entered the tattoo-removal market to help remove unwanted tattoos. Until now, there were certain colors that would not respond to laser light and would remain on the skin like a bruise or faded smudge. “The PicoSureTM offers the ability to remove all colors and do it in about half the number of treatments previously expected with the Q-Switch laser,” states Lornell Hansen II, MD, Owner and Medical Director of LazaDerm Skincare Centre. “This is the Ferrari of tattoo lasers. There is nothing as advanced as the PicoSureTM on the market right now.”

Dr. Hansen acquired the PicoSure after seeing it at the Aesthetics Conference in Las Vegas in July. “I saw how quickly and effectively this laser can work on all colors of tattoos. I loved the obvious benefits to my patients and I had to add it to my tattoo practice.”

The staff at LazaDerm is getting anxious to see the new laser in action. “The excitement has been building since the crate arrived last week. We are very anxious to start treating our current patients and offering it to prospective tattoo patients as well,” says Denee Reinwald, Office Manager and Patient Care Coordinator at LazaDerm Sioux Falls. “Some of our patients have had 5-15 treatments already, with certain colors still visible. The greens and blues are tough to remove.”

LazaDerm’s new addition changes all that. “No tattoo color is safe now,” states Dr. Hansen, “We can eliminate them all.”
