Interactive Touchscreen Solutions, Inc. Installs Navigo Video Wall at The Starrett-Lehigh Building
Crofton, MD (PRWEB) August 04, 2014 -- Interactive Touchscreen Solutions, Inc. recently created a one of a kind digital video wall experience using the Navigo Digital Signage at The Starrett-Lehigh Building in New York City.
Through the Navigo Suite of Products, the lobby area at 601 West 26th Street transformed from a blank canvas of empty space into an appealing focal point.
With the addition of 80” LED screens, the space now serves as a customized information solution that offers a variety of news, features and announcements for tenants and visitors. The video wall is part of a large roll out at the site using ITS, Inc.’s various Navigo solutions. The facility installed the Navigo Touchscreen Directories and Active Signage displays on each floor and in high traffic areas such as elevator lobbies and in the fitness room.
“This facility is home to a variety of tenants with different needs,” said Natalie Bobila, ITS vice president sales and marketing. “Working with RXR (property owners & managers) we’ve been able to match their needs with our various digital sign solutions.”
ITS, Inc. has worked with RXR Realty to install touchscreen directories at their properties in New York City and New Jersey. The relationship with The Starrett-Lehigh Building began back in 2009 with discussions on replacement of the building’s existing digital signage. During the process, the project soon gained momentum and ideas for new ways to implement Navigo throughout the building took shape and continued to evolve.
In the latest installation, the facility’s architectural project manager came to us to design content and install large scale LEDs and touchscreens to showcase tenants, inform visitors of neighborhood amenities and educate users of the historical features and attributes of the building.
The Starrett-Lehigh Building is located in Manhattan’s West Chelsea neighborhood known for its limitless creativity. With tenants in the high end fashion and design industry, there were high expectations for a sophisticated and stylish digital signage experience throughout the building.
A digital turnkey solution, like Navigo, saves time and money for the property manager while allowing tenants and guests to be up to date with the latest building or area news and announcements.
“Digital signage is the most cost effective way to communicate with tenants, visitors and staff,” Bobila said. “Property managers of all kinds - large buildings, small buildings, commercial, retail, health care and education - are exploring the options that best suit their facility needs and improve the property appeal. It’s our job to find the right solution for their specific needs.”
