The site currently features over 1700 events in categories such as systems and servers, cloud computing, networking, security, software, application development and embedded computing. A wide-range of industries are represented, including automotive, aerospace and defense, enterprise computing, education, medical, energy and telecommunications. The event directory is global, with 1,042 events in North American, over 400 in Europe and 350 in Asia. “Right now we are in soft-launch mode,” continued Kenton. “We are feverishly adding more content to the site and are getting ready to update the listings with more shows from 2015 and 2016. The soft launch has allowed us to get early feedback from interested users and potential advertisers. All-in-all, we are very pleased with how the site is coming together and excited about where we can take it.”

The search capabilities support category, location and keyword searches that allow users to quickly discover events that interest them plus various filters to focus their search results. The powerful keyword search function allows users to enter technology and industry-specific terms and find all of the events that cover that particular topic even if it is not the event’s main focus.

The blog includes posts about upcoming events, reporting from the show floor and summary reviews of key events. As the site grows, more events will be included in the coverage. The site resource area, called Get Schooled, includes tutorials and articles on everything from planning your event to what kind of shoes to wear!
