Colliers International | West Michigan will serve as the leasing partner for downtown Grand Rapids’ newest upscale mixed-use development, Arena Place, located at 45 Ottawa Ave. SW in the heart of the Arena District. The firm will represent all non-residential leasing transactions.

The 11-story mixed-use development, totaling 373,347 square feet, will feature Class-A office space, ground floor retail, a parking garage with space for more than 280 vehicles and 100 market-rate apartments with state-of-the-art technology and amenities – all of which were thoughtfully coordinated with the City of Grand Rapids’ master plan and Arena South Visioning Plan. Surface demolition and infrastructure support on the 1.01-acre site, led by Orion Construction, was marked by an on-site groundbreaking ceremony early yesterday afternoon, July 30. The development is expected to be complete in the winter of 2015. Upon completion, it will house anchor tenants Miller Johnson, Do More Good and Meritage Hospitality Group along with 8,147 square feet of ground floor retail space and a 6,054 square foot restaurant.
This project provides positive growth for downtown residents, businesses and patrons along with creating a strategic alliance that seeks to foster a healthy pace and direction of growth in the South Arena District for years to come.
