Damon Evans, Founder and Managing Director of Evolution Sports Partners (“ESP”), and former Athletic Director at University of Georgia, has announced that the Winston-Salem Open (“WSO”), the final tour stop of the Emirates Airline US Open Series before the US Open, will be implementing its FanGauge™ program this summer to drive fan engagement and experience for the WSO.
“My partners and I formed ESP to drive business results in the world of Professional Sports and Intercollegiate Athletics,” said Damon Evans. “Our programs deliver a new, robust fan experience that provides sports entities with greater opportunities to engage fans and make data dependent decisions to operate more successfully. We are excited to continue our relationship with the WSO to deliver fans the ultimate experience at the event.”
“We are thrilled to continue the program for Winston-Salem Open fans,” said Bill Oakes, Tournament Director for the WSO. “The program was a big success last year, and with many new enhancements and prizes added to the program, we’re confident fans will be even more excited this time around.”
Fans are able to get their own WSO Collectible Credential that offers great perks and benefits to fans at the event, such as seat upgrades, behind-the-scenes tours of the event, access to exclusive autograph sessions, WSO merchandise and more. The program also offers web and mobile experiences for fans at the event and watching on TV, allowing them to play match predictions, connect with other fans, and win great prizes.
FanGauge is one of a number of innovative programs developed by ESP to help sports entities operate more intuitively to drive results. FanGauge elevates fan engagement, influences their behavior, and extracts data insights that drive revenue and business outcomes.
ESP is founded by Damon Evans, Tracy Howe, and Peter Kraft. The company has offices in Morristown, NJ and Charlotte, NC.
