He has become the poster boy for blind dogs and an incredible ambassador for those dogs who go blind at a young age. Basil was fitted with a Halo by The Pet Business and this has transformed his life. He is now able to enjoy life to the full without the risk of injury.

Basil is still looking for his forever home with another dog for company. He is confident, outgoing and very loving and playful. He will be a great companion for the right family.

Blind dogs like people deal with the onset of blindness differently, some are able to cope in their own homes as they are familiar surroundings and they know them, others are unable to do this and struggle to adapt. Muffins halo can help by ensuring the confident dog in their own home can still explore the outside world without risking injury.
