Shopping for a diamond ring is a personal experience. Firstly, you deserve privacy, but perhaps more importantly, you deserve personalized advice.

Prestigious jewelry publication InStore Magazine awards Mervis Diamonds as the number three Coolest Jewelry Store in America for 2014.
To thank their clients and the D.C. community for their award, Mervis Diamonds is inviting the public to a free ice cream party. The popular food truck Captain Cookie will park outside the Mervis Diamond showroom at 17th and K on Tuesday, August 5th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
The Coolest Jewelry Store contest featured a panel of judges comprised of industry experts. Natalie Bos explains her vote: “Mervis definitely stands out from other jewelry stores solely in the way it does business. I think their unique philosophy of working one-on-one with clients in private rooms is a smart and highly personal way to sell jewelry. What’s more, the private rooms are brightly colored and uber chic.” David Brown, another judge on the panel, added: “The private viewing rooms are bold and modern and certainly add a point of difference.”
Third generation diamond expert, Jonathan Mervis, explains the company’s rather unique business model further. “Shopping for a diamond ring is a personal experience. Firstly, you deserve privacy, but perhaps more importantly, you deserve personalized advice. Our Diamond Consultants are here as your personal concierge, listening to your needs and providing expert advice tailor-fit for you. We’re simply passionate about diamonds and we want to share our knowledge with you.”
Why an ice cream party? “Because diamonds make people happy, but so does ice cream!” says Mervis.
Recognized for their solid reputation in the wedding industry, Mervis Diamonds has won several awards including the Knot’s 2014 Pick “Best of Weddings” and WeddingWire’s “Couple Choice Award.” Washingtonpost.com has named the company as the single “Best Place to Buy a Diamond.”
Mervis Diamond Importers has served the Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. area for more than 35 years. They are specialists in engagement and wedding rings, but also offer a range of other diamond jewelry for happy occasions like anniversaries and the birth of a child.
