Chicago, IL (PRWEB) August 04, 2014 -- NuCurrent, a leader in wireless power antenna technology, announces its co-founder and CTO Dr. Vinit Singh will present at Battery Power 2014 to be held Aug. 6-7, 2014 at Hyatt Denver Tech Center in Denver, Colorado. Singh will present “Practical Implementation of Wireless Charging” on Aug. 7 from 1:40-2:00 p.m. Attendees will receive a practical foundation for identifying and selecting components that provide the greatest wireless charging technology benefits in battery-powered devices such as cell phones, tablets, electric vehicles and other personal electronics.
Wireless charging is an exciting new frontier for battery-powered devices but implementation can be complicated by various standards, technology types and marketing jargon. Dr. Singh’s presentation will cut through the clutter to discuss the benefits/trade-offs of wireless power systems, basic wireless charging circuits, critical components, selection of components, and integration of wireless charging systems. The focus is on the practical application of the latest wireless charging technology for benefits in battery-powered devices such as cell phones, tablets, electric vehicles and other personal electronics.
As CTO of NuCurrent, Singh guides the company’s technology roadmap, business strategy, product development and customer engagement. He received his PhD in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University. While attending the university, he developed wireless telemetry systems for the world’s first Artificial Retina Implant, of which was recognized as a 2009 R&D 100 award winner.
Battery Power 2014 is an international conference highlighting the latest developments impacting mobile and portable battery systems for consumer and commerical products, including power tools, smart phones, tablets, laptops and medical devices. The 12th annual event will include topics such as new battery designs, improving power management, predicting battery life, regulations and standards, safety and transportation, battery authentication, charging technology, emerging chemistries and market trends.
