Albany, NY (PRWEB) August 11, 2014
SmartWatt Energy announced today they have earned a spot on the US Department of Energy’s (DOE) “Qualified List of Energy Service Companies (ESCO).” This list compiles private firms within the energy-efficiency industry, who have both submitted an extensive application and been deemed qualified by a review board of DOE staff.
Inclusion on the list requires extensive energy-efficiency design and implementation experience, detailed project case studies and proof of a highly-qualified staff. With the thorough application and rigorous evaluation process complete for the coming year, SmartWatt is now qualified by the US DOE for successful implementation of energy savings performance contracts (EPC). Identifying among just over 100 companies nationwide, this honor further positions SmartWatt as a leader in the energy-efficiency industry.
