Plumbing Contractors Association of Long Island (PCALI) to Host Annual Fundraiser
North Babylon, New York (PRWEB) August 04, 2014 -- The Plumbing Contractors Association of Long Island (PCALI) is hosting their 19th Annual Golf Outing and Fundraiser on Monday, September 15th, 2014 at Southward Ho Country Club in Bayshore. The event will raise funds for Plainview based ACDS.
ACDS was originally founded in 1966 by a group of parents on Long Island who were seeking services for their young children with Down syndrome. Since then, the organization has grown and evolved into a lifetime services agency that serves families of individuals with a wide range of disabilities, from before birth until late adulthood. Their programs are delivered in a variety of settings, including an educational center in Plainview, in the family’s home, in community based programs and in their Individualized Residential Alternative group homes (IRAs).
John Maccarone, PCALI’s President said, “Supporting ACDS will make a direct impact on the health and well-being of the thousands of children and adults they help. PCALI is proud to support such a dedicated community based organization.”
PCALI's mission is to advance the plumbing industry, promote the overall welfare of Nassau and Suffolk plumbing contractors, bargain collectively in a manner that will optimize labor relations in the trade and industry, and promote the good will of the plumbing industry and the public at large.
Sal Romano, PCALI’s Vice President added, “We wanted to thank the members and friends of PCALI for so graciously supporting this year’s event. Your support will make a difference in people’s lives.”
