Parascript Announces Alexander Filatov as CEO
LONGMONT, Colo. (PRWEB) August 04, 2014 -- Parascript ®, LLC, a leading document capture company, is announcing Dr. Alexander Filatov to the role of CEO. Dr. Filatov, who has been with the company since its inception in 1996, most recently served as president and CTO. He will lead the organization in expanding its technological capabilities and implementation of its technology in a vast variety of applications.
Dr. Filatov draws on 20 years of research and development expertise in the fields of pattern recognition, image processing and artificial intelligence. Before joining Parascript, he was a key member of the management team at ParaGraph International, known for its handwriting recognition technology used by Apple and Microsoft. Dr. Filatov received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow State Technical University and earned his masters degree in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Oil and Gas.
He replaces Bill Pearlman, who served as Parascript’s CEO from its inception in 1996 to 2000 and then returned from retirement to the role in 2010. Pearlman will continue to consult at Parascript during his retirement.
