The Goldstein-Patterson Group managed more than $600 million in client assets at BNY Mellon. GPG specializes in creating customized wealth management strategies for clients, as well as in providing multi-generational wealth advisory tactical asset protection, transfer strategies, and wealth landscape optimization. The team has a particular focus on serving clients in the sports and entertainment industries. GPG founders Brendan A. Goldstein and William F. Patterson join Lebenthal as Managing Directors.

Mr. Goldstein was previously a Senior Director at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in New York City, responsible for client relationship and development, and serving high-net-worth individuals, families and foundations. Prior to that, he was Global Head of Business Development and Chief Revenue Officer at The NewsMarket (currently, Synaptic Digital) and before that Head of Sales and Business Development of Bloomberg Law & Government at Bloomberg LP.
Mr. Patterson served as Vice President at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in New York City. In that capacity, he managed high-net-worth private client relationships, oversaw investment management and tactical asset protection activities, as well as wealth transfer planning solutions. Prior to that, as Relationship Manager at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management he advised ultra-high-net-worth domestic and international private clients.
