Australian Entrepreneurs Seek Funding for Unique Social Media Event Marketing Platform

Australian entrepreneurs, Logan Nathan and Farhad Khurshed, have planned the next phase of TweetMyEvents, a unique social media platform which enables event promoters and business owners to promote events to a targeted audience at a fraction of the cost of traditional media and online marketing such as pay-per-click advertising. To fund the next phase of enhancements, a crowdfunding initiative has been planned through the popular crowdfunding site Indiegogo.

Australian entrepreneurs, Logan Nathan and Farhad Khurshed, have planned the next phase of TweetMyEvents, a unique social media platform which enables event promoters and business owners to promote events to a targeted audience at a fraction of the cost of traditional media and online marketing such as pay-per-click advertising. To fund the next phase of enhancements, a crowdfunding initiative has been planned through the popular crowdfunding site Indiegogo.

TweetMyEvents, enables event promoters and businesses to list their event and get instant visibility on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ for free. For a nominal cost, event promoters and business owners can offer credits to other users to share events with their social media network.

The next phase of the project will involve a rewards program where users will be able to use their accumulated credits for products and other benefits. Other enhancements such as a mobile app and a mobile website have also been planned.

Contributors to the TweertMyEvents crowdfunding are being offered attractive incentives based on their contribution level such as credits to promote events, a social media marketing starter kit, advertising space on TweetMyEvents and access to an online LinkedIn training course.

Logan Nathan, the brains behind TweetMyEvents, is a Social Media specialist, LinkedIn trainer, and operates an IT business, solomoIT, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Sri Lanka. His consultancy services are in demand by small business owners and large corporations. Farhad Khurshed is a leading Sydney-based Direct Response copywriter and marketing consultant. He has worked globally in advertising, including a six year stint with Saatchi & Saatchi.
