CPCU Society to Continue Social Media Chat Series
Malvern, PA (PRWEB) August 04, 2014 -- The CPCU Society will host additional social media chats over the next two months, highlighting risk management and insurance-industry topics that complement sessions scheduled for the 2014 CPCU Society Annual Meeting.
Part of the larger Social Media Chat Series, these chats in August and September will allow CPCU Society members, Annual Meeting attendees and industry professionals to connect with session speakers through the Society’s Twitter and LinkedIn pages prior to the 2014 Annual Meeting, which will take place September 20 through 23 in Anaheim, California.
The following educational session speakers will chat in August:
• Hernan L. Medina, MS, CPCU, AIM, manager with Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) Insurance Programs and Analytic Services, will answer questions about predictive modeling.
• Greg Horn, vice president of industry relations for Mitchell International, will discuss the impact of advances in automotive technology on the insurance industry.
The following educational session speakers will chat in September:
• Joseph F. Bieniek, CPCU, AIE, CRM, vice president and senior consultant at First Consulting & Administration, Inc., and Eric C. Nordman, CPCU, CIE, director of the Regulatory Services Division at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), will turn the tables by testing participants’ insurance knowledge before posting correct answers.
