King County Housing Authority (WA) Selects WinTen2+ for Housing Software
Lexington, KY (PRWEB) August 05, 2014 -- Tenmast Software announced that the King County Housing Authority (KCHA) has chosen the Tenmast WinTen2+ system as the new enterprise software to manage data for their housing and maintenance departments.
KCHA chose Tenmast Software as the best provider to meet King County Housing Authority’s business needs. Mike Reilly, Senior Director of Housing Management at KCHA, reports that “Tenmast has a terrific group of employees, and I am very excited as we move forward on our conversion to Tenmast. Staff morale is very high toward this project. I am so impressed with how well our teams already work together. I feel fortunate that we are working together on this project.”
The King County Housing Authority is a “Moving-To-Work” Housing Authority, meaning that KCHA does not necessarily operate by the same rules and restrictions as other Housing Authorities. Rather, with HUD approval, KCHA may create special programs, rules and activities that may substantially differ from other Housing Authorities across the nation. “Our approach to the King County Housing Authority includes a partnership where our team identifies business processes, designs the Moving-To-Work changes as needed by KCHA, and implements the updates, “ states Adam Block, Director of Sales and Marketing at Tenmast Software. “Since these custom rules and regulations change periodically, the system includes a framework for making the applicable updates. King County is nationally recognized for excellence, and we are excited to contribute to the agency’s constantly-improving business operations.”
The upgrade in software provides many benefits for the King County Housing Authority. Not only will the agency's daily operations see a major increase in both productivity and efficiency, but landlords and tenants will also see improvements in service. Once installed, KCHA landlords and tenants will have 24/7 internet access to vital information, including, for landlords, Housing Assistance Payment details, inspection details, and for tenants, online rent payments, work order requests, account information, form access, and more. The transition also allows for improved use of mobile technology, streamlined client processing, and superior data for executive decision making.
“Tenmast is pleased to welcome the King County Housing Authority to our family of clients located throughout the United States," says Mark Lewis, President of Tenmast Software. "We look forward to making their work days more efficient."
