SAE 2014 On-Board Diagnostics Symposium Anticipates Expert OEM Technical Speakers
Warrendale, Pa. (PRWEB) August 04, 2014 -- SAE International will host the 2014 On-Board Diagnostics Symposium at the Wyndham Anaheim Garden Grove in Anaheim, California on September 9-11. This year’s event will host several technical speakers from major OEMs such as Chrysler, Ford, GM, Toyota, and VW. SAE is also excited to welcome representatives from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) who will be involved with regulatory talks within the event.
With representatives from CARB and from major OEMs, attendees will have the opportunity to witness technical sessions that will directly influence ground vehicle emissions. Throughout the 3-day event, experts will be striving to find solutions in order to meet CARB regulations. More specifically, the OBD Symposium will be covering the 12V start-stop, diesel misfire, alternate fuel propulsion implementation and off-road OBD.
Attendees have recognized the unique nature of SAE’s OBD Symposium. One such individual, Kathy Kedzior of Mahle Powertrain LLC said, “This is the only industry event that I know of where you can network with the decision-makers and the developers of vehicle on-board diagnostics.”
